A Note On Fear

Bad things can invade our lives even if we don’t want them to. When I talk to my children its calming to my frazzled emotions. Locked out or locked in it doesn’t matter when they come to infect my day. Fear is validation through its allowance to exist. Why do I some times choose it and yet still other times push it away? To deal with it is not on the outside nor is it. The resolution to this all encompassing emotion is through it. How many of us find the courage to go through the fear or through the pain. It’s not an easy decision to make. But make it we must if we want to get our lives back in balance. Its takes a tremendous amount of courage. But we are all born with the capacity to allow this courage to rise above the fear and surrender to the resulting feelings of truth over it. What about me? What am I waiting for?. Permission? Therapy is good permission to start to take courage and work on painful issues. Then hopefully we can eradicate most of it from our lives.  There will always be a residual affect left behind but we can choose to put that away in a box so that it no longer can affect our lives in a negative way.

It’s a powerful thing to say that it is my choice. To feel this release of tightness and pressure from the trauma and all the drama that it brings, can be invigorating and thrilling as we start to see results. Although for a time as we are working through it we might begin to feel out of control and its finality will bring peace. Isn’t that the result we all want?

Peace be with you!

Gone In A Flash

Hold on to what you have,

and make it last.

Give all you got,

for it will be gone in a flash.

Hold on to every bit of hope,

and eliminate despair.

Say what you must,

and clear the air.

Take back what was lost,

of your life, be the boss!

Live life today like it was your last.

disintegrate bad memories from the past.

Don’t look behind or to far ahead.

Eagerly live for today instead.

Every cell of yours will tell,

of the glory and might,

that was given from above,

to fill your life.

Simply put, life is always a surprise,

that God gave to us like a prize.

May your spirit lift,

to cherish this gift.

To give God glory and thanks,

and enjoy each as just one day,

for the splendor he makes.

Rise above any problem with the hero in you.

So what seems monumental will be just a clue,

of the strength you find deep inside of you.

Hold on to today as if it was your last.

Give all you got each day.

For it will be gone in a flash.

The touching thing about tears is that they can travel from one heart to another without traveling  the space in between. Its an understood language that needs no words. How magical a human function that’s been given from above for our heavenly father cries tears as well. We were made in his image.

Two people can have opposing thoughts and ideas but when they learn of the death of a child there is an  understanding of pain, loss and deep sadness.

Some children die but yet still live. Its really not that difficult a concept to grasp. Abuse  of any kind can kill a child’s innocence. It can destroy their will to grow and learn and advance in the way that they were meant  to in this world. It cannot on the other hand kill their spirit. The spirit is very resilient.

Perhaps it is a saving grace for where there is spirit there is possibilities for growth and change and the discovery of power within.

Children are precious in Gods eyes. Why can’t humans all feel the same depth of value?

Poetry Defined

Poetry is where you will find,
the brightest,
and darkest reaches of your mind.
A revelation of self.
With the words,
neatly written down.
To know me,
these will help.
Just know that you will find,
I give my all,
in all I do.
No doubt I’ve mentioned this fact to you.
So be patient with me,
in knowing the reasons why,
therein my mind.
I cannot deny,
I am sensitive and emotional
of my poetry I will not lie!

My Devotion

My heart is given to him.
That is my choice.
My devotion to him,
has freed my voice.
Do you know he created all things?
The joy of life and all that it brings?
I stand here today,
in awe of his splender.
He is not by any means,
a pretender.
What he says,
shall come to pass!
For me its been,
freedom from my past.
But its much more that.
I can at last be me.
I love him so very dearly.
Through his truths,
I’ve seen clearly,
that there is a purpose,
to my life.
Just know in my heart,
I am dedicated to him.
I can survive,
life’s trauma,
and tomorrow to give.                                                                                                                                                      Thank you,
heavenly Father.
Just know in my heart,
I am dedicated to you.
I can imagine now all my
dreams come true!
