DON’T BLINK

DON’T BLINK
In the twinkling of eye,
time passes by,
to revel in the past.
Success has come to pass.
All the children are all grown.
In our marriage our love does bestow,
our depth of love and devotion,
to each other.
There was never another,
Thirty years later,
our souls ignite as one.
Plus treasure full and done.
Then has passed and dawn,
has ushered a brand new day.
A centurion once said ” don’t blink”.
His wisdom of years has seen.
Time goes by faster than we wish,
But our spontaneity will keep us,
filled with pleasure,
all our days,
to the finish.
